OLLI at Duke Online Learning
OLLI is striving to keep members engaged in this time of COVID-19 by offering a variety of Online Learning experiences, including orientations on using Zoom, free pilot courses, and a short summer term of online courses. This website, an adjunct to the olliatduke.org member website, will focus on providing up-to-date information on all of our Online Learning efforts.
A number of free online sessions were offered in June to explore more ways to engage OLLI members. See the Wonderful Wednesdays! page. Several of these were recorded. Open this list of courses and click on a title to view that video.
Reminder of Zoom 5 Upgrade
Starting on May 30, 2020, Zoom will require that all users are running version 5. Throughout April 2020, Zoom has been prompting users to upgrade to version 5 when leaving a Zoom meeting. Hopefully, you responded “yes” and followed the quick and easy upgrade steps. You may not even remember having done so! For details on how to check what version you have and how to upgrade if necessary, please click here.
We recommend that you just to plan to join your next meeting 5-10 minutes early to allow time for an automated upgrade to take place if necessary.
