Instructor Zoom Support

Instructor Zoom Support volunteers will assist instructors 1-on-1 or in small groups to practice presenting a class using Zoom prior to the start of Winter term on Feb 15. Volunteers should have a free (or paid) Zoom account and experience with hosting meetings and screen sharing. Our instructors use a mix of Windows and macOS computers, so we need volunteers for both. Having patience and understanding for those less tech-savvy is helpful.

Winter 2021 Moderators

Moderator volunteers will facilitate interaction between the students and the instructor. Each Instructor will have different needs and each style of course will require different levels of support. Typically the moderator will monitor Zoom chat for the instructor, assist with Zoom raise hand feature, help with Q & A and, in general, be an extra set of eyes on the screen for the instructor.
